Major Update 0.1.4: New Calling! New Item! Rebalancing!


Hey everybody! I know it's been a bit. I've been really busy working on the Footfall playtest (thank you for that, by the way), but I've been itching to give Hollow Halls some support. So, without further ado . . .

Major Changes & Additions

  • Added the Minstrel calling, a bardic being whose boisterous ballads bolster buddies and bully bad-guys.
  • The Survivor ability Struggle now reads "Once per Combat, when your Resilience hits 0, you do not die for 5 Rounds. Each time you take a Hit, reduce the remaining duration by 1. During this time, when you Hit an Item you may choose to immediately Sunder it. If Combat ends before this Ability, you fall unconscious until you are brought back to Town."
  • Added the Bottle of Vinegar item, spoiled wine long left open in the hideous depths.
  • The Dagger's fast melee trait now reads "Make 2 Hit Checks. When you have 2 or more daggers on your Body, make 4 Hit Checks instead."

Minor Changes

  • Altered Table of Contents and the Callings Overview to reflect the addition of the Minstrel.
  • Added a new rule under item for dealing with items that aren't included in the book.
  • Editing corrections in multiple places throughout the book.
